The GMSL works and stands for the harmonious co-existence of the earth, its flowers, its animals and most importantly, its people. When any of these are threatened or violated, whether in the macro-cosmic sense in which the policies of international financial heavy weights can affect whole communities or in the microcosm we stand firm to our vision of an environmentally aware planet. We do not use the word "fight" in any sense since that word is one that exists in the vocabulary of aggressors. We stand. We don't move. We don't go away. We cannot be pushed away.
In working for all inhabitants of this country, we also know that we are helping build a nation that we can be proud to leave behind for those who are yet to come. Yet to make use of what we have prevented from being destroyed. Yet to make use of that which we preserved for them. |

We stand firm in the face of those who attempt to take such beauty away from our people
